Gregatron's POTW: The Canadian Open

Everyone’s heading north of the border on the way to Pebble Beach. The tour stops at Hamilton Golf and Country Club in Ontario for the Canadian Open. It’s the first time the event’s back at Hamilton since 2012, and a number of high profile golfers including Brooks Koepka are trying to log another country’s open title. Players will need to go low to be in the mix on Sunday with recent scores between 15 and 18 under par. Load up on those cheese curds, sit back with a Molson and watch some golf this weekend.

Gregatron’s Pick of the Week: Sergio Garcia

Sergio is in a quiet resurgence this season. After his famed bunker meltdown in Saudi Arabia, he’s logged 5 top-tens and sits 49th in FedEx Cup standings. He’s ranked 98th in putting, given that he’s 11th in shots gained tee-to-green, hard to imagine that Sergio won’t be there come Sunday.

Back to the Range Bro: Justin Thomas

JT is back after a wrist injury had him on the sidelines at the PGA Championship. He struggled when missing the fairway last week at the Memorial, and hopes to build some strength ahead of the long rough next week. The golfballin team hopes he rounds into form, but this is just another rep in his comeback for the season. Keep fighting, JT.
